Socket employees raised $271.72 for the 9th annual Back 2 School Bash in Hallsville!

This event, sponsored by the Hallsville Inter-Church Council, provides school supplies free of charge to approximately 500 area children. It will be held Saturday, August 6, at Tribble Park.
 
You see, the cause is an important one to our friend Ralph, who provides janitorial services for our Columbia office. Ralph shows up here at 5:30 AM every day to clean up our messes and keep the place looking great. So this is our way of saying thanks.

Throughout the week, Socketeers bought fun snacks and meals, including popcorn, "fancy" coffee creamers, healthy smoothies and lunch delivered from Flat Branch Pub & Brewing. A raffle was also held for two Flat Branch gift cards.
 
We're hoping the proceeds will be put to good use. For example...2,500 pencils...or 240 bottles of glue...or 130 notebooks!
