A Thirst for Knowledge: Jamey Leonard Makes the Difference
Jamey is a sales engineer for Socket who went to Mizzou and graduated in 2000 with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Having spent more than ten years in Denver carving fresh powder on his snowboard, camping in the Rockies, and biking his heart out, Jamey came back to be closer to family and take a new direction with his job.
He loves the experiences that Socket provides him with daily. And it shows in his work ethic.
"Jamey is always willing to look at a problem and will keep at it until he has exhausted everything he can think of to help you solve a problem," said a fellow co-worker who nominated him for the award.
Aside from making the difference in the lives of his fellow Socketeers, Jamey is a passionate cyclist, who dreams of one day crossing the country on a bike. An avid brewmaster, Jamey enjoys a good beer and also enjoys watching and playing soccer.
His new son, Emery, is a joy in his life and Jamey spends much of his time hanging out with the boy.
"My favorite thing about Socket is the seemingly endless learning opportunities," Jamey says. "I learn something new every day here."
Thanks for all you do, Jamey!
