Socket announces expansion projects in Moberly

Socket is proud to announce the expansion of its fiber-optic broadband network to the Fox Run, Bradford Circle and Quail Creek neighborhoods in Moberly, which will bring internet speeds up to one gigabit per second to local residents.

The Columbia-based telecommunications provider expanded its fiber-optic network to Moberly businesses earlier this year, and now plans to offer the service to residential customers as well.

“We’re excited by the demand for high-speed fiber internet in Moberly,” said George Pfenenger, Socket CEO and co-owner. “These projects are just the beginning of our efforts to bring fast, reliable services to Moberly residents.”

Socket will begin construction in the new areas this summer. An additional three areas will also be constructed if a signup goal is met. The company is actively seeking more neighborhoods to add to its list. Those interested in the service can visit www.socket.net/fiberhood to sign up or request expansion to their area.
