While 60 degrees might be a little too warm to be called “Polar,” the water was definitely cold enough to shock the system, as our seven Plungers can attest to.

Friday was below freezing, but it didn't stop hundreds of students from visiting Socket at the MU Off Campus Housing Fair.

We've been attending the fair for several years, but we pulled out all the stops this time. The marketing team hauled oodles of promotional material, including 300 shirts and by the sixth hour our supplies (and employees) were exhausted!

Socket was happy to be a part of the Millersburg Community Parade and Celebration on Saturday! It was a perfect day to celebrate the town, which is located west of Fulton and is one of the areas to benefit from Socket's fiber-to-the-home network.

The parade, which traveled from the Millersburg Christian Church all the way to the Lions Club, included tractors, pedal bikes, classic cars, and our own Socket van (with plenty of candy, of course). Afterwards, the Celebration had everything from reenacting old west gun fights to classic balloon popping games. We even brought some balloons ourselves.
