Where's My Popcorn?

Sorry. We took one look at her, thought about kids in need this holiday season and gave it to her; but thanks to you, we didn't stop there...

A couple years ago, we tried something new. Instead of sending our clients yet another tin of holiday popcorn, we bought toys for needy children in their names.

We got such a positive response, we decided to make donating to charity a holiday tradition. Last year, we sent 10 World War II veterans on an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., where they visited the memorials dedicated to honor their sacrifices.

This year, we're donating more than 450 toys to Toys for Tots. Here's the breakdown:

  • 130 Puzzles
  • 110 Assorted Board Games
  • 20 Tubs of Play-Doh
  • 35 Play Ponies
  • 20 Barbie Dolls
  • 40 Toy Cars
  • 30 Nerf Guns
  • 68 Other Toys

As our clients, you helped make this possible. Thank you.

Toys for Tots is a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve program that collects toys for needy children. All told, Socket purchased over 450 games, balls, ponies, dolls, cars, puzzles, play-doh and other toys to deliver to locations all across Missouri.

All the toys will go to local Missouri children. Program volunteers work with local social welfare agencies, church groups and other community agencies to ensure that the shiny, new toys are delivered to Missouri children in time for Christmas.
