Congratulations to Jim Quisenberry, Construction Supervisor, on being named Socket’s You-Make-The-Difference award winner for April!
After reading all about fiber networks for years, Jim finally came in contact with one when Socket built a fiber to the home network in Callaway County. He knew he had to be a part of it, which is when his journey with Socket began. As Construction Supervisor, Jim has several rolls at Socket. He primarily plans all commercial and institutional fiber optic projects. In order to keep things running smoothly, his goal is to have all necessary equipment and information available to the Commercial Fiber Technician when they arrive at a job site. He and his team also respond to dispatches for trouble tickets as needed Trouble tickets include cut fiber cables, trouble shooting low light issues, etc.
Outside of work Jim enjoys playing all types of music. He claims to have been a student of music all of his life and has been in many bands throughout the years. Jim also enjoys hunting, fishing, other outdoor activities, and spending time with his son Randall.
“Jim has a great personality and our customers love him,” says a coworker who nominated him. “He is truly a great representation of our brand.”
When asked what his favorite part about working for Socket is, Jim answered, “I love my job at Socket and I love the culture here. I’m especially proud of the generous extending of help to folks that are really needing data services right now.”
