Congratulations to Sam Johnson, Service Delivery Specialist, on being named Socket’s You-Make-The-Difference Award winner for March!

This is Sam’s third win since joining the Socket team in 2010 – originally a residential tech support agent, he spent some time as a business center analyst before joining the provisioning team. He now spends much of his time getting new business customers up and running, in addition to serving as a resource for all his fellow techs.

“He is one of the most helpful people I’ve run into,” said a coworker who nominated him. “If I ever have a problem, I know who to call to help fix it."

“I’ve watched him work patiently with others, even on bad days,” said another. “It’s some real dedication.”

In his free time, Sam enjoys being outdoors; he can be found camping, hiking or kayaking when the weather’s nice! He and fellow Socketeer Elissa also recently purchased a house, so there’s plenty of work to be found there – along with more room for their three cats (Chewy, Leia and Lando), two birds (Birdy and Odin), and some fishes (Janet and Eleanor).

“The people who work here are amazing, and the work is challenging,” said Sam. “And they throw great parties!”
