Congratulations to Theresa Lichty, Marketing Specialist, on being named Socket’s You-Make-The-Difference award winner for January!

Theresa has been with Socket for over 6 years, and started as a marketing intern after graduating from the Missouri School of Journalism. When a full-time position opened up, she became a permanent fixture, and has been a valuable asset ever since!

“She has a wonderfully positive attitude,” said a coworker who nominated her for the award. “She handles the many tasks required in marketing while managing to keep cool under pressure.”

Theresa and her husband, Nathan, met at Socket back in 2012, and have been married for two years. They are both avid gamers in their free time, which they’ll soon be very short of – they’re expecting their first child in June.

“There are so few ‘layers’ here,” said Theresa. “If you’ve got a good idea, everyone is eager to hear it and help make it happen. Socket’s pretty unique in that aspect!”
