Founded in 1943, Whaley's Pharmacy combines modern prescription services with the atmosphere of an old-fashioned drug store. Its pharmacists provide award-winning customer service to Jefferson City area patients, and its East End location features a soda fountain with a Cherry Coke like no other. Whaley's strives to take good care of its customers, and that can't happen when the phones are busy. As the organization grew, phone lines were tied up for calls between the four Whaley's locations. That left patients frustrated, and employees rushing calls in order to keep the lines free.
