Chelsea Jaggard, one of our Business Account Coordinators, was chosen as Socket's You-Make-the-Difference-Award winner for October. If you’ve ever been to our office in Columbia, you’ve probably met her – she’s the one right in front of the door.

“Chelsea manages to work the front desk, handle incoming inquiries for both business and residential accounts, and navigate all the front office traffic and keep on the phones,” said a coworker who nominated her. “She’s always willing to help out.”

“She’s pretty much the Batman of the business center,” said another.

However, Chelsea may have more in common with one of Batman’s female foils… along with a penchant for fantastic footwear, she also has an affinity for felines.

“No cat ever needs to worry about being homeless with Chelsea on board. She will do her best to make sure that lil’ kitty has a home… even if it’s with her,” said a co-worker.

“She has one of the softest hearts when it comes to animals,” said another. “If it has a long tail, whiskers, and needs love, she’s the one to go to.”

And it’s not all just talk - when we discovered some stray kittens living under the office porch, Chelsea was one of the Socketeers who volunteered to take one home.

It’s hard to imagine a kinder, more dedicated person than Chelsea; and for that, we’re proud to name her as our You-Make-the-Difference Award winner for October. Congratulations!
