Congratulations, Dave Sill, You Make the Difference!
Congratulations to Dave Sill, Manager of Business Intelligence and Automation, on being named Socket’s You Make The Difference award winner for November!
Dave has won this award at least seven times since he started as a technical support agent back in 1999, along with being named the 2007 Socketeer of the Year in his role as “IT & Facilities Manager.” Since then, he’s handled managing the NOC department, and now oversees the full breadth of Socket’s data and information systems, including programming. (Whew!)
“Few people make more of a difference than he does,” said a coworker who nominated him. “Just one of the scripts he recently created has saved literally DAYS of other people’s time.”
“Also… I’m pretty sure he only pretends to sleep,” they added.
Originally from Lexington, MO, Dave graduated from Columbia College and lives with his family in Columbia. His recent promotion to Manager of Business Intelligence and Automation means a whole host of new responsibilities, but he’s ready for the challenge.
“I truly appreciate the nomination and the votes,” said Dave. “I’m excited about my new role, and still focused on making things run smoothly for our customers and employees.”
Congratulations, Dave!
