Socket to expand fiber internet throughout Centralia

Socket is proud to announce the expansion of its fiber-optic broadband network throughout Centralia, which will bring internet speeds up to one gigabit per second to local residents.

The Columbia-based telecommunications provider expanded its fiber network to Centralia businesses earlier this year and now plans to offer the service to residential customers as well.

“We know residents in Centralia are eager for fast, reliable internet,” said George Pfenenger, Socket CEO and co-owner. “We’re excited to bring residents another choice in providers, and we believe our local service and support are a great fit.”

Construction is already underway, and services will soon be available to all residents within city limits. Expansion into other areas will be based on interest. Those interested in the service can visit www.socket.net/centralia to sign up.
