Jim's been with Socket since the early days of our fiber construction projects, which were what initially drew him to the company. Six years later, and he's one of our foremost experts on fiber deployment, installation, and construction.
winning Socket’s You-Make-The-Difference Award for March! Joshua is a part of our business technician team, and helps keep our business customers up and running. From navigating complex hosted phone issues, to simpler (but no less important) questions about email or passwords, he listens and responds to customer issues. And he has a unique outlook on it, too.
Kelly has been with the company for a little over a year, and has already become a staple of everyday life at Socket. Whether it’s organizing charity drives, clearing out fridge space, planning parties, putting out fires (literal and otherwise), or keeping things stocked, Kelly does it all – and then some.
Having started at Socket just over three years ago, Brett is a now a part of our fulfillment and circuit ordering team. Brett helps ensure that customers get their orders completed and delivered on time, while taking into account their individual preferences and requirements.
Sheila first joined Socket’s team 12 years ago as part of our Accounting department. She now leads Socket’s team of business account coordinators, while also continuing to provide assistance to our Accounting team when needed.
Dave has won this award at least seven times since he started as a technical support agent back in 1999, along with being named the 2007 Socketeer of the Year in his role as “IT & Facilities Manager.” Since then, he’s handled managing the NOC department, and now oversees the full breadth of Socket’s data and information systems, including programming. (Whew!)
This is Adam's second time winning the award (his first win was in July 2016). As a field tech, Adam ensures that new business customers get their equipment properly installed and running, as well as doing on-site troubleshooting.
This is Nathan's second time winning this award - his last win was back in 2013 as a Business Center Technician, shortly after his promotion from Residential Tech. Since then, he's rounded out his experience at Socket by spending some time in field services, before becoming one of our overnight provisioners.
Matt joined Socket's team over 13 years ago, and is the go-to authority on contracts, legalese, and third-party vendors. Whether it's setting up new colocations and fiber builds, or working out disagreements with Centurylink and AT&T, Kohly is responsible for making it happen.
As a part of our business field technician team, Jimmie handles dispatches and on-site troubleshooting for many of our business clients. He’s the face of Socket for new customers being installed for the first time, and is on the front lines when something needs to be fixed.
Jimmie is a Columbia native, a Hickman High School graduate, and holds an associate’s degree in culinary arts. This is his second time winning this award – he was also our honoree in April 2016, and has just celebrated his third anniversary here. Not a bad record!
