Dawn originally started in our tech support department, where she won her first YMTD award back in 2016. She's now a part of our business team, responsible for coordinating the delivery of fiber services to new business customers.
Theresa has been with Socket for over 6 years, and started as a marketing intern after graduating from the Missouri School of Journalism. When a full-time position opened up, she became a permanent fixture, and has been a valuable asset ever since!
Shawn specializes in locates and survey work, and goes out into the field to figure out the finer details of how we’re bringing fiber to new areas. He’s also hands-on, even helping to physically dig the trenches for fiber when circumstances require it!
Caleb originally heard about Socket through a former employer – when he began looking for an opportunity to delve deeper into computer networking, it seemed like a perfect fit! Now, he’s one of our Business Center team members, helping to troubleshoot issues with customers and tackling all sorts of technical challenges.
Paul is one of our service provisioners, and sorts out the connections to and from our network to make sure new customers get the service they need. He’s also been instrumental in helping to train new service provisioners, as well.
Cole has been with the field services team for over two years, and is one of our more experienced fiber techs, finishing fiber installations for new customers all over Missouri. He was first encouraged to apply when a former Socket employee needed his help installing cabling – and was impressed enough by his skill to recommend him to the team. We’re glad he did!
Allison is one of our business team leads and helps solve some of our trickiest tech issues, while serving as a resource for her coworkers and fellow techs. “She’s always pushing to keep things running optimally, and never stops learning something new,” said a coworker who nominated her for the award.
Alex handles the set-up and maintenance of all of our office technology, in addition to tracking assets, testing faulty equipment, and setting up new people on their first day in the office. When tech support needs tech support, Alex jumps into action!
This is Rachael’s second time winning the award – the first time, she was our front desk receptionist, and the very first face customers saw when visiting. Since then, she’s joined our team of Business Center Coordinators, which helps handle our business customer accounts and takes care of any billing or support issues.
Danielle is our non-emergency (and let’s be honest, occasional emergency) dispatcher, making sure our agents and installers all end up where they need to be with enough time to actually get there. As she puts it, she spends most days playing Tetris – but with people and job requests instead of blocks.
